Green Cavendish Banana Cavendish bananas are the fruits of a

banana cultivar belonging to the Cavendish subgroup called AAA cultivar group. The same term is also used to describe the plants on which the bananas grow. They include commercially important cultivars like 'Dwarf Cavendish' and 'Grand Nain The entire banana industry was restructured, and to date, Cavendish accounts for47 percent of the bananas grown worldwide and 99 percent of all bananas sold commercially for export to developed countries
